House System

*House System at Mount Litera Zee School, Roorkee*

Our house system is inspired by the great rivers of India, each symbolizing unique qualities that we strive to instill in our students:

Green House

Blue House

Yellow House

Red House

Ganga

Yamuna

Saraswati

Saryu

*Green House*– Ganga:

The Ganga is revered for its purity, life-sustaining power, and spiritual significance. Students of Green House embody these qualities by demonstrating resilience, compassion, and a commitment to excellence, much like the river that nurtures life.

*Blue House*– Yamuna:

The Yamuna is celebrated for its serene, calming presence and graceful flow. Blue House students reflect these traits by fostering creativity, harmony, and balance in both academic and co-curricular activities, promoting a spirit of innovation and tranquility.

*Yellow House* – Saraswati:

Named after the mythical river of knowledge, Yellow House symbolizes wisdom, intellectual curiosity, and artistic expression. Just as Saraswati inspires learning and culture, students in this house are encouraged to explore, create, and excel in all fields of study and the arts.

*Red House*– Saryu:

Red House is inspired by the Saryu River, a symbol of timeless tradition, moral strength, and spiritual depth. The Saryu is celebrated for its cultural and historical significance, and it embodies virtues such as determination, empathy, and integrity. Students of Red House are encouraged to channel these qualities by showing leadership, perseverance, and a deep sense of responsibility, making them resilient individuals ready to face challenges with courage and conviction.

Each house at Mount Litera Zee School not only fosters a sense of community but also instills values that help our students grow into well-rounded individuals, ready to make a positive impact on the world.
